Since 2008, the Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea has carried forward the history of Rolex watches designed for deep-sea exploration. Equipped with the Ringlock system, it is waterproof to 3,900 metres (12,800 feet) – well beyond the range attainable by human scuba divers.

    Helium escape valve

    This is the RLX titanium, an alloy we use for its strength and lightness. It is a special kind of grade 5 titanium which we select with utmost care. Lighter than steel and denser than aluminium, it is also particularly robust and extremely resistant to corrosion.
