Waterproof to a depth of 11,000 metres (36,090 feet), the Oyster Perpetual Deepsea Challenge marks a new milestone in the exploration of the depths. Presented in 2022, it is inspired by the experimental watch that James Cameron took on his descent to the Mariana Trench 10 years earlier.

There and back again
This is our helium escape valve. Patented in 1967, it protects our watches designed for extreme diving. Rolex invented this valve so that the helium used for dives in hyperbaric tanks could be released during decompression.
Unfolding the deep
