Simplicity

Keep it simple

We always want to make sure that our watchmaking remains easy to use, no matter the complexity of the complications we choose to take on.

Consider our Saros calendar. Revealed in 2012, it dons the Sky-Dweller with an annual calendar merely using four gear-trains and two additional gear ratios. Simple and effective.

More impressive still is our Ring Command system. Serving as a selector wheel, it enables to set the date, month, local time and reference time using only the bidirectional rotating bezel. Simple and reliable. All connoisseurs agree that the Saros annual calendar and Ring Command system are unrivalled complications in the watchmaking world. Strikingly simple and seemingly obvious, in hindsight.

We always want to make sure that our watchmaking remains easy to use, no matter the complexity of the complications we choose to take on. If there is one thing that we have learnt over the years, it is that you never go wrong by keeping things simple.

Nonetheless, they are the result of our unique expertise, passed down and perfected, from generation to generation. Simplicity is a challenge that drives our entire manufacture, from prototyping through our continuous quality controls, down to the meticulous assembly process. If there is one thing that we have learnt over the years, it is that you never go wrong by keeping things simple.
