Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping

Rolex and Equestrianism

The Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping is a historic new challenge created in 2013 by three of the world’s greatest equestrian shows: CHIO Aachen, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ Tournament and CHI Geneva. Considered to be the ultimate show jumping test, the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping incorporates The Dutch Masters in 2018, and rewards the rider who wins consecutive Grands Prix at each of these four majors.

It is the ultimate dream for riders; the ultimate spectacle for enthusiasts. It is simply magnetic as they assemble together on hallowed grounds, united by an equal passion. With every masterful jump, elegant piaffe and stunning athletic movement, Aachen epitomizes the equestrian event against which all others are measured.

With the world’s leading riders and top horses taking part, the CSIO Spruce Meadows ‘Masters’ in Calgary, Canada makes for an exciting show full of intense competition and equestrian mastery. In 2013, this elite level event raised the bar even higher by joining forces with the two other equestrian Majors – CHIO Aachen and CHI Geneva – to create the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping, the first global initiative to reward the rider who wins the Grand Prix at each show in succession. Held in September, this year's edition guarantees a display of show jumping excellence at its finest.

Created in 1966 and held in the medieval Dutch city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, The Dutch Masters – previously known as Indoor Brabant - attracts the world’s leading horse and rider combinations. The event’s blend of magnificent show jumping and elite dressage has strengthened its position at the top of the international indoor show jumping circuit. Its reputation is such that, in 2018, it will become the fourth major in the sport’s leading equestrian contest: the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.
