With numerous victories and podium finishes in prestigious CSI5* events, Fuchs has established himself as one of the leading figures in equestrianism.
Champion rider
Born into a family with deep equestrian roots, Martin Fuchs was destined for greatness in show jumping.
His early start in the sport led to rapid advancements on the international circuit. Having made a name for himself in junior ranks, he came to prominence on the world stage when winning team gold at the first Youth Olympic Games in 2010.
Since then, Fuchs has established himself in the elite show jumping ranks, claiming multiple five-star Grand Prix titles, along with individual silver medals at the 2018 FEI World Equestrian Games™ and 2019 FEI Jumping World Cup™ Final, and a gold medal at the 2019 FEI European Championships. In 2019 he won the Rolex Grand Prix at the CHI Geneva, a win which elevated him to the World No. 1 ranking at the start of 2020, a position he has reclaimed multiple times. Fuchs’ dominance continued with another triumphant turn in the Rolex Grand Prix in Geneva followed by an FEI World Cup™ Final victory in 2022. Back-to-back victories in the CPKC ‘International’ Grand Prix, presented by Rolex, at Spruce Meadows the following two years further cemented his status as one of the world’s finest riders. Fuchs signed off on an extremely successful 2024 campaign by winning, for the first time, the prestigious Rolex IJRC Top 10 Final at the CHI Geneva.
Known for his ability to form strong partnerships with his horses, Fuchs’ success is a testament to his hard work and passion for the sport. He continues to push the boundaries of show jumping, setting new standards and inspiring future generations of riders.
