I couldn’t have asked and be more honoured to win the trophy

Bringing together the very best
The tennis season culminates with the WTA Finals for the women, and the Nitto ATP Finals and Next Gen ATP Finals for the men.
These competitions are contested by the top eight singles players based on results over the course of the year. At the WTA and ATP Finals, the top eight doubles combinations also compete for a final chance of victory and to finish the year on a high note.

I couldn’t have asked and be more honoured to win the trophy

The WTA Finals tournament is the grand finale of the women’s season. This annual competition has been held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, since 2024. It pits the eight best-ranked athletes on the WTA Tour against each other. The season’s top eight doubles pairs also vie for honours at the event.
Coco Gauff (2024), Iga Świątek (2023), Caroline Garcia (2022), Garbiñe Muguruza (2021), Caroline Wozniacki (2017) and Justine Henin (2006, 2007) have all won the WTA Finals, while fellow Rolex Testimonees Angelique Kerber, Sloane Stephens and Li Na have reached the title-deciding match. Another member of the Rolex family, tennis legend Chris Evert, triumphed at the women’s finals four times, in 1972, 1973, 1975 and 1977.

It was a very high-level tournament from my side. At times, I couldn’t have played better, so I am very happy.
In 2024, Jannik Sinner won the Nitto ATP Finals without losing a single set. Several other Rolex Testimonees have lifted the trophy. Stéfanos Tsitsipás (2019), Roger Federer (2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011), Stefan Edberg (1989) and Björn Borg (1979, 1980) have all won the ATP Finals, previously known as the Grand Prix Masters, the Tennis Masters Cup and the ATP World Tour Finals.

My greatest success has been winning the Next Gen

Since 2021, Rolex has been Official Timekeeper of the Next Gen ATP Finals, which take place annually in December. Founded in 2017, this competition follows the same criteria and format as the Nitto ATP Finals and is contested by the top eight players under the age of 21 in the ATP rankings. By joining forces with this competition for rising stars, Rolex is demonstrating its commitment to the future of global tennis.
Four Rolex Testimonees have won the Next Gen ATP Finals, namely João Fonseca in 2024, Carlos Alcaraz in 2021, Jannik Sinner in 2019 and Stéfanos Tsitsipás in 2018.
