As the helmsman and chief executive officer of the Australian entry, Slingsby has inspired his team to three titles in the Rolex SailGP Championship, demonstrating his strategic prowess and leadership abilities. In 2013, he was part of the Oracle Team USA that won the America’s Cup, confirming his status as one of the finest competitors in the sailing world.
The three-time Rolex World Sailor of the Year is a remarkably versatile athlete. His talents extend to winning 10 world championships in diverse categories, as well as being a helm with line honours-winning crews in epic offshore races, the Rolex Sydney Hobart Yacht Race and the Rolex Middle Sea Race.
