Ana Ivanovic began playing tennis at the age of five, inspired by Yugoslavia-born American player Monica Seles.

She turned professional in 2003 and quickly rose through the ranks with her powerful baseline game. Ivanovic reached her first Grand Slam® final at Roland-Garros in 2007 and repeated the feat at the Australian Open the following year. She broke through in 2008 to win Roland-Garros and subsequently achieved the World No. 1 ranking. In her career, Ivanovic claimed 15 WTA singles titles. Her success on the court, combined with her poise and fair play, earned her a place among the sport’s elite.
