Making his mark on the PGA TOUR®
Sungjae Im’s golf journey began in South Korea, where he demonstrated prodigious talent from an early age.
Turning professional in 2015, he quickly made his mark on the Korn Ferry Tour, winning twice and earning Player of the Year honours in 2018. His seamless transition to the PGA TOUR® the following year was marked by consistent performances and high finishes on the leaderboard. As a result, he was named PGA TOUR® Rookie of the Year after making the cut in 26 of 35 starts. Im’s career highlights include a victory at the 2020 Honda Classic and strong showings in major championships, including finishing tied for second at that year’s Masters Tournament and tied for seventh at The Open in 2024. Known for his resilience and work ethic, his dedication to the sport has made him a respected competitor. Beyond the PGA TOUR®, Im has played for the International Team at the Presidents Cup™ in 2019, 2022 and 2024.
