A flourishing career

Scottie Scheffler’s golf career began to flourish at an early age.

In 2013, as the reigning U.S. Junior Amateur Champion, he was named the American Junior Golf Association’s Rolex Junior Player of the Year. Four years later, he was the lowest-scoring amateur at the U.S. Open. It came as no surprise then that, once he turned professional, success inevitably followed, highlighted by his being named 2020 PGA TOUR® Rookie of the Year. Scheffler’s huge breakthrough came two years later when, after claiming his maiden PGA TOUR® victory, another three followed in rapid succession, including the first of his two Masters titles. Ever since, Scheffler has been a force to be reckoned with and the favourite going into just about every event he plays.

In 2024, his dominance was on full display as he accumulated six wins before the month of July to match a record set in 1962 by Arnold Palmer, a pioneering partner in Rolex’s partnership with golf. During this stretch, Scheffler won the Masters for a second time as well as other prestigious tournaments, including the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the Memorial Tournament. He created his own slice of history by becoming the first player to win THE PLAYERS Championship in consecutive years (2023 and 2024). After claiming an Olympic gold medal at the Paris 2024 Games, he returned to the PGA TOUR® to capture his first FedEx Cup crown by taking victory at the season-ending TOUR Championship.

Known for his powerful drives and precise iron play, Scheffler has displayed consistency at the highest level and resilience on the course. In doing so, he has solidified his status as the most dominant player in the modern game, with a career that continues to set new benchmarks in the sport.

Scottie Scheffler became a Rolex Testimonee in 2022.
