Zara Tindall is a distinguished British rider who has carried on the tradition of equestrian excellence exemplified by her parents, Princess Anne and Captain Mark Phillips.
The granddaughter of the late Queen Elizabeth II, Tindall grew up with a rich heritage in the sport and quickly rose up its ranks, securing a place on the Great Britain team. In 2005, Tindall was crowned individual and team champion at the European Eventing Championships. The following year, she won individual gold and team silver at the World Equestrian Games™ and was named BBC Sports Personality of the Year. Her Olympic debut came at the London 2012 Games, where she claimed a silver medal in the eventing team competition. Two years later, Tindall helped Great Britain secure another silver medal, at the FEI World Equestrian Games™, and in 2021 she was part of her country’s eventing team that triumphed in the FEI Nations Cup™ at the CHIO Aachen.
