Make a date of a day
A symbol of elegance. A watchmaking icon, always reinvented. A window on a world of endless possibilities.
Released in 1945, the Oyster Perpetual Datejust displays the date in a window at 3 o’clock on the dial. A subtle reminder that every 24 hours is an opportunity to make the date truly memorable.
A modern milestone
At its launch, the Datejust met the demands of a modern world where the rhythm of life seemed to be getting ever faster. As the pace of our social and professional lives continues to quicken, this watch stands out as both a practical instrument and a precious companion in daily life.
Celebrating moments to remember
Whether at the beginning or at the pinnacle of a career, whether in the spotlight or behind the scenes, certain dates become milestones that shape the paths of those who know how to seize the day.
A watchmaking icon
With the date in a dedicated window at 3 o’clock on the dial, a Cyclops lens and a Jubilee bracelet, the Datejust’s features have become emblematic.

Brilliant like no other
This is our famous fluted bezel. A brilliant creation in many regards. Presented on our Oyster in 1926, it is remarkable first and foremost for its original design, which enabled it to be screwed tightly to the case, thus completing the waterproofness of the watch.
Vapour of colours
This is one of our many sunray-finish dials. Its colour results from a technique known as physical vapour deposition, or PVD.
