Mark Webber is an accomplished former motor racing driver from Australia, known for his remarkable career across Formula 1® and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC).
His ability to adapt and excel across different racing disciplines made him one of the sport’s most respected competitors.
A story of endurance glory
Mark Webber began his racing career in karting and Formula Ford in Australia, before moving to the UK where he competed in British Formula Ford, Formula 3, Sports-cars and then Formula 3000.
He made his Formula 1® debut in 2002 with Minardi and quickly gained a reputation for his fierce determination. Over the course of 12 seasons, Webber achieved nine Grand Prix victories – most notably becoming a double winner of both the prestigious Monaco and British Grands Prix – and 42 podium finishes. He helped Red Bull Racing to four consecutive Constructors’ World Championships from 2010 to 2013.
After a 15-year hiatus, Webber returned to sports-car racing in the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2014. Over the course of three seasons, he and his Porsche teammates amassed 14 podiums (eight of them victories) as Webber won the FIA World Endurance Championship in 2015 and the team took the World Manufacturers Title twice.
Mark Webber became a Rolex Testimonee in 2017.
