Records and major milestones

Jason Day began his golfing career with a strong junior record in Australia before quickly ascending the ranks on the PGA TOUR®.

His big moment came in 2015 when he captured the PGA Championship with a record-setting 20-under-par score, the lowest in a major at the time. This victory helped him reach No. 1 in the Official World Golf Ranking (OWGR), a position he has held multiple times throughout his career.

Day’s powerful drives and accuracy on the greens have earned him more than a dozen victories on tour, including at prestigious events such as THE PLAYERS Championship. In the face of setbacks, he has remained a consistent contender, known for his adaptability and strong mental approach. Day returned to his prime in 2023, effectively going full circle when winning the AT&T Byron Nelson – 13 years after taking victory at the same tournament for his first PGA TOUR® title – and returning inside the world’s top 20.

Day also regularly features for the International Team taking on the U.S. Team in the Presidents Cup™.
