Radiance of diamonds

The gem-set versions of the Lady-Datejust unveiled in 2021 showcase the captivating sparkle of the diamonds that adorn every surface and exemplify Rolex’s expertise in the art of gem-setting. The gemmologist and the gem-setter work in harmony to reveal the diamonds’ radiance. One selects the stones, the other sets them one by one into the dial, bezel, case or bracelet. These incredibly precise motions, passed from one generation to the next, are perfected over the course of many years. They are repeated several hundred times when embellishing the Lady-Datejust.

Exclusive materials

The Lady-Datejust offers so many choices that wearers can always find one to reflect their personality. It is available in Oystersteel, in 18 kt yellow, white or Everose gold, or in Rolesor versions that combine Oystersteel and one of three varieties of gold (white, yellow and Everose).

The magical shine of Everose gold

This exclusive 18 kt pink gold alloy – created and cast by Rolex – features a slightly stronger colour than traditional pink gold and exhibits subtle cool tones. Its sophisticated and contemporary colour resonates particularly well on watches that combine gold and steel, known as Rolesor versions (a combination of Oystersteel and gold).

28 mm Oyster case

The Lady-Datejust’s 28 mm Oyster case is a perfect blend of proportion, robustness and elegance. The distinctively shaped middle case is crafted from a solid block of highly corrosion-resistant Oystersteel or 18 kt gold. It is guaranteed waterproof to a depth of 100 metres (330 feet).

Iconic bracelets

: The Jubilee bracelet, a supple and comfortable five-piece link bracelet, was specially designed for the Datejust, launched in 1945. On the Lady-Datejust, it is always fitted with a Crownclasp, an elegant, concealed clasp.
: The sleek and robust Oyster bracelet on the Lady-Datejust comes equipped with an Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link that allows the wearer to increase the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm for additional comfort.
: Always made of precious metal, the President bracelet is a three-piece link bracelet fitted with a concealed Crownclasp. It includes ceramic inserts inside the links to enhance its flexibility and longevity. This prestigious bracelet is available on some 18 kt gold versions of the Lady-Datejust.

A superlative movement

: The Lady-Datejust is equipped with calibre 2236, a self-winding mechanical movement entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex. Its architecture makes it exceptionally precise and reliable. Calibre 2236 is fitted with the Syloxi hairspring in silicon, manufactured by Rolex and patented.
: Insensitive to magnetic fields, the Syloxi hairspring provides great stability in the face of temperature variations and is highly resistant to shocks. Its patented geometry ensures its regularity in any position.
: Like all Rolex watches, the Lady-Datejust is covered by the Superlative Chronometer certification. This exclusive designation testifies that every watch leaving the brand’s workshops has successfully undergone a series of tests conducted by Rolex in its own laboratories according to its own criteria. The Superlative Chronometer status is symbolized by the green seal that comes with every Rolex watch and is coupled with an international five-year guarantee.
