Renowned for her aggressive baseline play and strategic shot selection, the Swiss ace has won multiple singles titles. In 2014, as a 17-year-old, she became the youngest player in more than 15 years to reach the US Open quarter-finals. Five years later, she reached the last four of the same Grand Slam® tournament, demonstrating her ability to compete with the game’s elite. Bencic achieved a career-high ranking of World No. 4 in February 2020 and her career reached new heights with a singles gold medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games, confirming her ability to deliver high-class performances on the grandest stages. In 2022, Bencic played a pivotal role in Switzerland’s maiden victory at the Billie Jean King Cup, the premier international team competition in women’s tennis.
