An exceptional course. A legendary competition. A tradition continuously renewed. Every April, Augusta National Golf Club invites the finest players to a truly unique setting for a world-class showdown. To win here means becoming part of golf history.
A lifetime achievement
One of the most sought-after prizes in the world of golf. The Green Jacket. Imbued with ritual, reverence. By tradition, the winner of the previous year’s tournament helps slip on the jacket of the new champion in front of a crowd held spellbound at the 18th hole. Any player who wins the Masters Tournament earns a lifetime exemption to return to play in the opening major of the year.
It’s hard to put into words how special this is. The golf course was so challenging, and to be sitting here wearing this jacket again is extremely special.

Hallowed grounds
One of the world’s most revered courses. A place where the world’s best are put to the test. A landscaped masterpiece, home to 350 plant species. Here, a vast team of greenkeepers tend to every detail, from the iconic Magnolia Lane to the 44 formidable bunkers and the pivotal Amen Corner, with its three notoriously challenging holes. Framed by forsythias and azaleas, this course is a golfer’s paradise – yet for some, it can just as easily transform into a veritable ordeal.
The power of tradition
The Masters is unlike any other tournament. Caddies dressed in white. A discerning audience following the action. Customs and practices that befit the grandeur of the setting. The whispers of the green meet the roar of the crowd, echoing the legends of the game. At the Masters, golf’s enduring traditions are constantly renewed – and respect for them remains the golden rule.
Tiger Woods
Making history
The 2026 edition of the Masters Tournament marks 25 years since Tiger Woods completed the historic “Tiger Slam”. Following his consecutive victories at the U.S. Open, The Open and the PGA Championship in 2000, Woods won at Augusta National Golf Club in April 2001 to become the only golfer in the modern era to simultaneously hold all four major titles.
My ultimate achievement in golf was winning the four majors in a row… to be the first person ever to do that in the modern era was very special to me.
