Brooke Henderson is a Canadian golfer who has achieved huge success on the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour.
With a powerful swing and remarkable consistency, Henderson has long occupied a prominent place in the women’s game. Her dedication and relentless pursuit of excellence has set her apart as one of the top players on tour for a decade.
Young, talented and unstoppable
Born in Ontario, Brooke Henderson’s passion for golf was nurtured from a young age, with her family playing a significant role in her early development.
Throughout her career, her father has been her coach, while her older sister Brittany – a star golfer in her own right growing up in Canada and who also played professionally – decided to hang her clubs to become Brooke’s caddy soon after she turned professional in 2014. It did not take Henderson long to make a mark on the LPGA Tour and she captured her first major at the 2016 KPMG Women’s PGA Championship. This victory made her the youngest winner of the championship and cemented her status as a rising star. In 2022, she added a second major with victory at the Amundi Evian Championship.
With more than a dozen LPGA titles, Henderson is the most successful Canadian golfer on major professional tours.
Off the course, she is known for her involvement in charitable causes and promoting golf among youth.
