Rolex Deepsea

The science of waterproofness

Please choose another model

Pushing the boundaries of underwater exploration.

Equipped with a helium escape valve and Ringlock system, waterproof to 3,900 metres (12,800 feet), the Oyster Perpetual Rolex Deepsea is a tool watch specifically designed to withstand extreme pressure at the greatest depths.

Rolex Deepsea

Ringlock system
Braving the pressure

The Rolex Deepsea was the brand’s first Professional watch to feature the Ringlock system, an innovative case architecture that enhances the Oyster case’s resistance to pressure found in the ocean’s depths.

Helium escape valve
Mastering decompression

Exclusive to Rolex and patented in 1967, the helium escape valve that equips the Rolex Deepsea is a major invention for saturation diving.

Oyster case and Triplock crown
Reinforced waterproofness

The Rolex Deepsea is equipped with the Triplock winding crown. This helps guarantee the waterproofness of its Oyster case to a depth of 3,900 metres (12,800 feet).

Graduated bezel
Legibility and security on the wrist

A key feature of Rolex divers’ watches, the bezel is fitted with a graduated Cerachrom bezel insert, an essential technical element that allows divers to accurately read their time spent underwater.

Chromalight display
The power of the blue glow

The Chromalight display gives the Rolex Deepsea optimal legibility in any circumstances.

D‑blue dial
The nuances of the ocean

One of the Oystersteel versions of the Rolex Deepsea features a D‑blue dial, named in tribute to James Cameron’s historic dive aboard the DEEPSEA CHALLENGER submersible in the Mariana Trench in 2012.

Oysterlock clasp
Security and reliability in all circumstances

The Rolex Deepsea’s Oyster bracelet is equipped with the Oysterlock clasp. Exclusive to Rolex Professional watches and patented, it ensures both a secure fastening and easy handling, even underwater.

Oystersteel
Durability and refinement

Oystersteel is an exclusive and highly corrosion-resistant alloy that retains its shine even when the watch is put to extreme use.

Calibre 3235

Calibre 3235
Exceptional performance

The Rolex Deepsea is powered by calibre 3235. A consummate demonstration of various technologies, this self-winding mechanical movement is entirely developed and manufactured by Rolex.
