The colour of excellence

This is our new green seal. It symbolizes the extension of the Superlative Chronometer certification to our seven pillars of watchmaking excellence.

Until now, Rolex tested the precision, waterproofness, self-winding and power reserve of each finished watch. Today, resistance to magnetism and overall reliability – assessed as early as the design phase – are also taken into account. Sustainability, too, is now considered a key criterion, extending beyond the watches themselves to encompass all of the company’s activities. The green seal embodies the journey of each Rolex watch through our workshops, from initial sketch to final testing. Of all the elements associated with our watches, it is certainly not the most complex to produce, yet it is uniquely ours. It represents the commitment of the entire Rolex manufacture.
