ATP tour partner
Since 2013, Rolex has been the Official Timekeeper of the ATP Tour, where the sport’s stars go head-to-head over a long and challenging season. The Tour ends in November with the Nitto ATP Finals and the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals, which Rolex also partners.
ATP Masters 1000 excellence in nine chapters
Rolex is the Official Timekeeper of the nine ATP Masters 1000 tournaments throughout the season, beginning in March with Indian Wells, followed by Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Montreal/Toronto, Cincinnati and Shanghai, culminating with Paris in late October. They alternate between hard courts (six tournaments) and clay (three tournaments).
Rolex is the Title Sponsor of three of these tournaments: the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and the Rolex Shanghai Masters since 2009, and the Rolex Paris Masters since 2017.
Rewarding endurance and determination
Punctuating the year, the ATP Masters 1000 series is a nine-stop world tour alternating different surfaces and contrasting settings from one tournament to another. Players must accommodate this while adapting to the conditions and latitude of each event. If we take the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, played outdoors on clay in the northern hemisphere spring, the Rolex Paris Masters, held indoors at the end of the season, and the Rolex Shanghai Masters, contested outdoors on a surface said to be one of the fastest in the world, the atmospheres have little in common. Earning a place in the world’s top eight and qualifying for the Nitto ATP Finals is possible only for those who succeed in adapting their tennis every step of the way, while shining in the Grand Slam® tournaments.
