ATP tour partner

Since 2013, Rolex has been the Official Timekeeper of the ATP Tour, on which the sport’s stars compete over a long and challenging season. The tour schedule concludes in November with the Nitto ATP Finals and the Intesa Sanpaolo Next Gen ATP Finals, which Rolex also partners.

ATP Masters 1000 excellence in nine chapters

Rolex is the Official Timekeeper of the nine top-tier ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, second in stature only to the Grand Slam® events and the Nitto ATP Finals. This elite series begins in March at Indian Wells in California, followed by stops in Miami, Monte-Carlo, Madrid, Rome, Montreal/Toronto, Cincinnati and Shanghai, culminating with the Paris indoor event in late October. The Monte-Carlo, Madrid and Rome legs are played on clay, the others on hard courts.

Rolex is the Title Sponsor of three of these tournaments: the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters and the Rolex Shanghai Masters since 2009, and the Rolex Paris Masters since 2017.

Rewarding endurance and adaptability

Punctuating the year, the ATP Masters 1000 series is a nine-event world tour played on varying surfaces and in contrasting settings. If we take the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters, played outdoors on clay in the northern hemisphere spring, the Rolex Paris Masters, held indoors at the end of the season, and the Rolex Shanghai Masters, contested outdoors on a surface said to be one of the fastest in the world, the conditions have little in common. Earning a place among the world’s leading eight players on the peak men’s tour and qualifying for the Nitto ATP Finals is possible only for those who succeed in adapting their tennis every step of the way.
