Tiger Woods has captivated the golfing world since winning the 1997 Masters Tournament in his first Major as a professional. In 2019, he completed one of the most remarkable comebacks in the history of sport when, aged 43, he once again triumphed at Augusta National Golf Club to capture his fifth Masters title, bringing his Major tally to 15, second only to Jack Nicklaus. Among his stellar achievements, Woods has been ranked World No. 1 for more weeks than any other golfer, and in winning the 2001 Masters, he became the only player to win four consecutive Majors, a feat known as the Tiger Slam. He had showed signs of what was to come long before joining the professional ranks, winning a record three U.S. Amateur Championship titles by the age of 20. The masters tournament
The Masters Tournament is held annually at the revered Augusta National Golf Club. The first men’s Major of the season, it is the only one of the four elite events to be contested by an invitation-only field and played on the same course each year. Rolex has supported this bastion of tradition and excellence since 1999 and became an International Partner in 2008. The Masters also contributes to the development of the game through its support for amateur events including the Augusta National Women’s Amateur Championship, the Asia-Pacific Amateur Championship and the Latin America Amateur Championship.
PGA Championship & KPMG Women’s PGA Championship
With almost 29,000 professionals, the PGA of America is one of the world’s largest sports bodies. It works constantly to increase interest and participation in golf and is committed to developing and teaching the game. The organization’s scope includes staging events for junior players as well as its professional members. The PGA of America holds three annual Major championships: the PGA Championship, the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship and the KitchenAid Senior PGA Championship.

The United States Golf Association (USGA) has conducted the U.S. Open Championship since 1895 and the U.S. Women’s Open Championship since 1953. These Majors have produced many of golf’s signature moments at some of the country’s most iconic venues. As part of its long-term commitment to the sport, dating back more than half a century, Rolex has been Official Timekeeper of the U.S. Open since 1980 and of the U.S. Women’s Open since 2003.

The R&A, together with the USGA, governs the sport of golf worldwide. It also organizes The Open, the oldest golf championship, and oversees the AIG Women's Open, one of the five women’s Majors. The Ryder Cup

THE AMUNDI EVIAN CHAMPIONSHIP
Golf’s first Major to be staged in continental Europe, The Amundi Evian Championship has become a reference point in the women’s game. The Solheim Cup
Inaugurated in 1990, the Solheim Cup is the foremost team event in women’s golf, showcasing the finest talent from both sides of the Atlantic. Team Europe and Team USA face off in a competition that follows the same format as The Ryder Cup. Some of the finest golfers in the world take part in this biennial tournament, with teams of 12 contesting 28 matches over three days of intense, absorbing action to determine the winning team.
