The Rolex Awards for Enterprise were established in 1976 to foster a spirit of individual enterprise around the world. Every two years, Rolex gives generous support to five laureates and five associate laureates in their efforts to expand knowledge and improve life on our planet. The international programme promotes innovative projects in the fields of science, technology, exploration, the environment and cultural heritage.
