chronograph functions

A peerless chronograph, the Oyster Perpetual Cosmograph Daytona, can be used to measure elapsed time and to calculate average speed. Two push buttons control the chronograph: a start-stop button and a reset button. The graduated bezel and sweep second hand provide tachometric functions.

When the push buttons on the Cosmograph Daytona are pressed, there is a distinct “click”. Rolex engineers used simulation and computer-aided design to perfect this crisp, clear sound and the perfect feel.
